Paul D. Wedge 2010

The Southeast Area Joint Apprenticeship Committee, Paul D. Wedge Outstanding Apprentice Competition was held at Boilermakers Local 40's, L. D. Smith Training Center on July19-21, 2010. Congratulations to Brother Billy Jordan for winning the competition. He will be representing Boilermakers Local 40 and Southeast Area Joint Apprenticeship Committee in the National Apprenticeship Competition in Buffalo, NY the week of September 26-30, 2010. A special thanks to our apprenticeship training instructors for their hard work and dedication to our training program. Also, thank you to our members working in the field for their assistance in training our apprentice's on the job to become better craftsmen.

 Congratulations to Brother, Marc Dingee for being selected Boilermakers Local 40 Outstanding Apprentice to compete in this years Southeast Area Joint Apprenticeship,  2009 Paul Wedge Competition. Although he did not finish in the top two positions, we are very proud of the effort he put forth in this years competition and appreciate his dedication in trying to secure a fourth consecutive Paul Wedge Award!
