Associated Mechanical Inc. @ ISP Chemicals (Calvert City Ky) - 3 to 4 weeks of 6/10's starting August 18th using 10 to 12 Boilermakers.
*Sterling Boiler & Mechanical @ Domtar Paper (Hawesville, KY) - 1 -2 weeks of 6-7/10's, now starting September 15th using approximately 60 Boilermakers.
*Sterling Boiler & Mechanical @ AEP - Big Sandy (Louisa Ky.) - Outage starting 9/19/08 using approx. 100 Boilermakers for 10 weeks of 6/10's. Should start hiring August 18th.
*Enerfab @ Big Sandy (Louisa Ky) - Outage starting 9/18/08 for 8-10 weeks of 5/10's using approx 40 Boilermakers.
Day / Zimmerman NPS @ Shawnee (Paducah Ky) - 100 Boilermakers working 6/10's for 45 days starting first week of October.
*New Cash Creek Generation: The Erora Group has selected Burns & McDonnell to perform EPC engineering design services and Kiewit Energy Company for engineering, procurement and construction services to build the 720 MW natural gas combined-cycle power plant and coal gasification -to-SNG plant in Henderson County Ky. Construction scheduled to begin May of 2009. Boilermakers are not expected to be on site until January 2009. Expected to take 3 1/2 years to complete from start to finish.
*New 268 MW-Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler in Trapp, Ky. - Should begin site preparations in the spring of 2010, if permitting process moves forward as expected.
*New Coal to Diesel Plant - Kentucky Fuel Associates and Frontier Fuels Inc. have chosen Shaw, Stone and Webster to engineer and construct a new Coal to Diesel plant in Muhlenberg County. Construction is planned to begin the 4th quarter of 2009, with the plant becoming operational in 2011.
